Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide techno-functional subject matter expertise and advisory to the HR business function to design scalable business processes and implement best in class systems for security, performance and operational efficiency.
Set and lead the strategic vision and roadmap for the HR systems landscape.
Collaborate with HR and IT to identify and prioritize system requirements and enhancements.
Guide the evaluation and deployment of HRIS solutions with internal stakeholders; Support the swift adoption of systems, updates, and processes through training and leadership.
Serve as a central resource, working with HR, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to maintain and improve the HRIS, including configuration, end-user access, security, and system efficiency.
Collaborate with HR leadership and teammates to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics (KPI's).
Provide production support, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Secure data integrity within the HR system(s) through regular audits, queries and data analysis.
Ensure that HRIS system(s) are aligned with labor regulations, data protection rules, and organizational hiring goals and policies.
Ensure Workday is setup to meet the needs of compliance.
Lead functional projects to drive automation and process improvements.
Provide guidance and support to the HRIS Analysts.
Develop and maintain HRIS best practices and training material, inclusive of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
Coach, mentor and develop team members, including overseeing new team member onboarding and providing career development planning and growth opportunities.
Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance.
Create a culture that is consistent with the organization's focus on team member engagement and that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning.
Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
Education, Experience & Technical Proficiency:
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and 10+ years’ HRIS experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
10+ years’ hands-on Workday configuration experience. Knowledge in the following Workday areas: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, Workday Docs, Help.
Leadership experience inclusive of successful change management, mentoring, career development, training, succession planning, holding people accountable, and conducting yearly reviews.
Knowledge of HR processes and regulations, and the ability to apply them to system design and configuration.
Experience leading system-related projects, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate to advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
