Seeking a detail oriented, organized, dependable CNC Machine Supervisor to join our organization in Carol Stream, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing Associates in multiple production areas including: Stamping, Tool and Die, Machining, and CNC Machining.
Responsibilities
Requisition tooling & raw material required to meet production goals.
Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
Develops and manages production schedules and administers requirements for completion of job assignment to meet production goals, per Plant Management.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to associates, and assigns duties.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists associates in solving work problems.
Maintains time and production records.
Confers with other supervisors and functional groups to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Performs activities of workers supervised, this a "hands on position"
Experience with a MRP system and Microsoft Office required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
In their daily activities this person will direct up to 15 employees in the CNC Department, Machining and Stamping Departments. Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems, always leading by example.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Seven to ten years' machine shop operations experience with minimum two years supervision experience.
Machine programming either manually or using Mastercam for 3 & 4 axis mills and 3 axis lathes, and machine set up experience of both the CNC machines as well as manual toolroom equipment.
Knowledge of GD&T along with part gauging requirements is required. Experience with an MRP system and Microsoft Office required.
All other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000 depending on experience
