Must adhere to Nucor's safety programs and standards.
Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor's vision and values.
Tag all orders
Handle some retail orders: Quoting; Tagging; Preparation of paperwork; Payment collection
Preparation (printing) of all drawings for deliveries
Reconciliation of tail inventory
End shipment reconciliation
Inspection requests as needed
Some purchasing required
Backup for other administrative personnel
Schedule all deliveries with Trucking/Jobsites
Maintain accurate and organized files for all jobs and deliveries
Other duties as assigned
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a high school diploma, GED or local/state equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with reinforcing steel
Forklift experience a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office
Special Demands
Some overtime may be required during our busy season
