The Sr. Analyst, Business Performance Reporting is responsible for architecting a management system of corporate performance reporting, strategic dashboards, and scorecards to drive continual improvement in the business performance of the products, channels, member experiences and operations credit union. The incumbent will develop corporate standards for Business Performance Reporting and insights through analytics of operational funnels, member journeys, and business unit portfolios. The Sr. Analyst, Business Performance Reporting will lead a center of excellence for analysts supporting business functional areas and will partner with the Technology Business Insights Organization to identify and prioritize a roadmap of data sources to be migrated to the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop a comprehensive Management System of Corporate Performance Reporting including strategic dashboards and scorecards.
Facilitates cross-functional collaboration in the development of the key enterprise performance metrics of operational funnels, member journeys, and business unit and product portfolios.
Develop roadmaps for the ongoing maturity of the Management System. Provides thought leadership and industry best practices to the Performance Reporting discipline.
Regularly reports on performance trends, insights, and recommendations for areas of performance improvement focus through a consistent analytic framework. Works closely with Product, Channel and Operational process owners to facilitate and influence improvement roadmaps.
Partner with finance and other stakeholders to ensure that reporting meets the needs of Everwise business units.
Liaison between data teams and business units to ensure clarity and alignment in reporting objectives.
Develops standards for Business Intelligence Performance Reporting, Dashboarding, and Scorecarding. Leads a "Center of Excellence" for consistent enterprise corporate performance reporting.
Works closely with Information Technology to source required data elements, develops, and prioritizes a roadmap of data warehouse expansion and enhancements.
Assume additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of Everwise.
Knowledge/Skills:
Highly proficient in the use of contemporary tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) to perform detailed ad-hoc analysis to determine correlations, root causes or support business case justifications.
Exceptionally strong data analytic skills. Tech Savvy, highly proficient in the use of data visualization tools for dashboards and scorecards such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar. Knowledgeable of industry best practices for business performance reporting.
High level of business acumen and analysis. Ability to create meaningful business insights from operational data trends, changes, and anomalies. Understands the drivers of Business Performance.
Collaborative, able to work effectively across functions and across levels of the organization. Specifically, a proven track record of partnering with Business Owners and Information Technology Organizations.
Commitment to process design, documentation, and improvement
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel, Teams, and Power Point)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, data analysis or relevant discipline required
5+ years' of relevant Business Operations, Performance Reporting, Business Intelligence related experience
Proficient in the use of data visualization and analytic toolsets.
In-depth knowledge of Performance Reporting best practices, and industry sources of research, benchmarking, and collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to architect and deliver cross-functional, enterprise management system dashboards.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, (Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point)
Prior credit union or banking experience preferred.
