ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sr. Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operations of a portfolio of accounts, including Budget Control, Delivery of Quality Product, Training, Safety and Equipment Allocation and Assignment. As a leader in the company, you are also responsible for modeling and enforcing all policies and procedures, including safety policies. You will work closely with FOM's and Account Managers and report to the Sr. Operations Manager. For the team approach to work well, communication lines between Sr. field Operations Manager, Field Operations Managers, and Account Managers are necessary to support crews and achieve success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Senior FOM is responsible for managing a specific group of FOM's and ensuring they are performing their jobs duties in a responsible manner.
Manages work plans and expectations for their assigned FOM's as well as providing guidance on various situations.
Assists Senior Operations Manager in making determinations on manpower needs as well as coordinating labor needs with staffing agencies.
Works in conjunction with recruiting coordinator, onboarding coordinator, and FOM's to make sure manpower needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Overall responsibility for weekly production schedule and ensuring their FOM's keep their schedules up to date.
Responsible for long range scheduling and planning with Sr. Operations Manger.
Responsible for running morning launch and ensuring crews leave yard in a timely and safe manner. Daily goal is five minutes for the crews to launch.
Assists Senior Operations Manager with upcoming seasonal plans as well as planning for equipment needs.
Ensures their assigned FOM's and their crews are performing work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining MHA's standard of quality.
Works with Senior Operations Manager to ensure job quality and efficiency is up to our standard.
Delegates various daily and weekly tasks to their assigned FOM's
Helps to ensure standards are met for our work quality and productivity.
Ensures FOM's handle disciplinary matters in a timely manner with crews including but not limited to verbal warnings, written warnings, suspensions, and terminations.
Manages FOM's route planning and daily route distribution.
Monitors job budgets with Senior Operations Manager and makes necessary adjustments to ensure jobs remain profitable.
Review daily work plans with their assigned FOM's and make necessary adjustments to ensure routes are being run in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards.
Review P&L's as well as working with Senior Operations Manager on work forecasting.
Ensures FOM in charge of Landscape Center keeps grounds up to standard.
Monthly safety reviews with Safety Manager and Senior Operations Manager.
Delegate FOM's to be responsible for equipment inventory.
Ensures their assigned FOM's are submitting times daily.
Responsible for all temp time being submitted to the staffing agency by no later than Tuesday mornings.
Responsible for tracking the quarterly show up and safety incentives.
Conducts weekly one on one meetings with the FOM's in order to track career progress and to discuss any issues that may arise.
Conducts weekly meetings with FOM's to discuss operational efficiencies, scheduling and quality of work being performed.
Along with the Senior Operations Manager, responsible for ensuring client retention remains at or above the designated acceptable level throughout the year. This will directly relate to the quality and frequency of work being performed.
Responsible of ensuring FOMs conduct yearly evaluations of crews in a timely manner as well as working with the FOMs on determining merit-based raises for crew members.
Responsible for tracking monthly performance metrics for all FOMs as well as performing year-end evaluations to help determine year end incentives for each.
