Associate Dean for Research - School of Nursing and Health Studies (SONHS)
The University of Miami (UM) School of Nursing and Health Studies (SONHS) seeks to hire an Associate Dean for Research. The successful candidate will be eligible for appointment at the rank of Full Professor tenured.

The mission of SONHS is to transform lives and health care through education, research, innovation, and service across the hemisphere. Among nursing schools for FY24, the SONHS' scientific portfolio is ranked 16th in the nation for NIH funding. The School houses several notably ranked and accredited academic programs, including baccalaureate degrees in nursing science, public health, and the health sciences, as well as master's programs, post-master's certificates, and doctoral programs, including the PhD (Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science) and DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice).
The Associate Dean for Research is responsible for leading the research and scholarship enterprise of the School of Nursing & Health Studies, and for the oversight of daily research operations. Works collaboratively with the SONHS Leadership and the faculty to ensure programs are of the highest quality and serve the mission of the SONHS and the University.
