Staff Accountant - Sudbury, MA



We are assisting a privately owned machine tool importer company, in their search for a Staff Accountant to join their team!



Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices.


• Maintain vendor and customer records in accounting software.


• Contribute to financial reporting efforts.


• Participate in the bi-annual budget process by preparing schedules and providing additional financial data.


• Assist in the year-end financial audit by preparing necessary schedules and information.


• Help maintain the General Ledger and support the creation and maintenance of related schedules.


• Analyze and reconcile specific balance sheet accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis.


• Assist the General Accounting team with weekly wire transfers and check runs.


• Take on additional projects and tasks as requested.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.


• 1+ year experience in an accounting or finance position within a professional environment.

• Familiarity with Infor Cloudsuite, SAP, or Concur expense software is a plus!
