Responsibilities:
Manage and execute payroll operations for a growing organization, ensuring compliance with multi-state and government contracting regulations, and supporting accounting functions.
Process semi-monthly payroll and 401(k) contributions for 200+ employees, including multi-state and international payroll management.
Oversee multi-state payroll compliance, ensuring all filings meet regulatory requirements.
Ensure payroll and timekeeping compliance with GAAP, CAS, and FAR standards.
Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Conduct Payroll Labor Reconciliations and monthly general ledger account reconciliations, addressing variances promptly.
Support the annual budget process and assist with any necessary financial tasks.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in organizations with over 200 employees.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of government contracting, GAAP, and operational accounting principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
