We are looking to hire a talented SharePoint Developer to create customized SharePoint solutions for our customers. As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing Share Point systems according to DoD specifications, building scalable web applications, writing, and modifying code, debugging, and supporting the staff.
To ensure success as a SharePoint Developer, you should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Apps integrations, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. Ultimately, a top-class SharePoint Developer can create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all customer design and functionality requirements.
The SharePoint Developer will work as a member of the Marine Corps Systems Command's Finance Directorate Financial Systems Division, and perform the development and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the SharePoint environment. This includes the design and implementation of infrastructure from specifications, configuration and deployment of applications, connecting to back-end resources, and advanced troubleshooting of moderately complex PowerApps applications. The developer shall provide requirements elicitation from customers, development, testing, administration, and operational support of (production, staging, test and development, user account permissions, group permissions) environments for multiple projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to all technical aspects of building and maintaining the SharePoint Site Collection.
Build SharePoint sites to industry standards and customer operating procedures.
Automate customer business processes according to their requirements.
Troubleshoot SharePoint customer access and permissions issues.
Maintain SharePoint assets and workflows through their lifecycles.
Develop and maintain metrics for tasks completed and customer site usage.
Forecast needs in advance of requirements.
Research problems with workflows and sites and develop timely solutions.
Provide development documentation and share techniques with team.
Compensation Minimum: $125,000
Compensation Maximum: $150,000
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree (Management information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
3+ years in demonstrated administration roles managing complex SharePoint environments
3+ years of SharePoint Development/Programming
Strong technical knowledge of data management systems, back-end development, front end design / implementation, database design, data quality, and data governance
Preferred education in User-Centered Design, Human Computer Interaction or UX Design
Required Skills:
Experience using SharePoint Online/O365 and SharePoint on Premise 2016.
Experience in SharePoint Framework SPx to create responsive SharePoint sites using OOTB, open source, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates.
Experience in site architecture/rebuild sites to reorganize and optimize some existing SharePoint sites and lists to enhance the end-user experience.
Experience in converting processes into SharePoint or PowerApps workflows.
Ability to create custom ASPX master pages, design/develop landing pages, dashboards, bulletin boards, department templates/pages.
Good Understanding of Microsoft.Net technologies, design, development, and delivery of custom web applications using .Net, ASPX and/or C#, JSON, Angular JS, jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap CSS and XML.
Build custom webparts that pull data from various SharePoint apps (Power Apps/Automate/Flow/Power BI, Yammer, Planner).
Requires US citizenship the applicant to obtain the security clearance requirement for the position.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 40 lbs.
