Position Overview:


Join our team as a 2025 Insulation R&I Intern, where you'll engage in innovative research focused on developing eco-friendly, non-halogenated flame-retardant solutions for polyisocyanurate insulation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in chemistry and materials science to real-world challenges, contributing to sustainability in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:


* Develop and test new insulation formulations using non-halogenated ingredients.
* Operate lab machinery and perform physical property and burn tests.
* Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate product performance.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and present findings to executives.


Qualifications:


* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
* Junior or senior standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
* Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
