We have an opportunity for a Lead/Chief Enterprise Security Architect supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Position Overview
Chief Enterprise Security Architect, will Serve as expert across security functional areas, which include Infrastructure Security Application and Data Security, Security Operations, Governance, Risk and Compliance. Coordinate schedules and report on activities to Sr. leadership. Partner with multiple projects and initiatives to apply security architecture requirements, develop solutions, integrate security into solution designs, access risks of security gaps, and develop architecture remediation. Review and Validate implementations against approved architecture and design. Provide expertise and guidance to the teams to meet Regulatory and Compliance requirements.
Expertise:
Demonstrated experience at a senior level (architecture, development, other technical competency) over at least 7 years in an enterprise environment.
Expertise with the design and development of IT architecture, expertise must include a wide range of work in creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology.
Demonstrated knowledge and success with guiding structures to advance the development of legacy and new health IT digital architectures including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, VR/XR, 5G, PQC, and AI technologies.
Demonstrated success performing all aspects of risk management.
Demonstrated knowledge and use of Enterprise Architecture tools.
Demonstrated knowledge and use of Enterprise Architecture tools.
Expertise guiding architecture tool processes and products (e.g., Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA)).
Expertise coordinating with program and project leaders to analyze system architectures during design reviews and throughout the conceptual design lifecycle.
Expertise in a wide range of work in creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology.
Expertise with conducting detailed trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues.
Requirements
Public Trust
Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related scientific/technical discipline.
Minimum of 10 years working experience in relevant field.
Ability to work well under minimal supervision and guidance
Certification:
CISSP-ISSAP
Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA)
