Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Purpose:
Be a part of the team in maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities for maximum safety, reliability, and efficiency
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance as prescribed by eMaint CMMS software
• Understand intricate details and operations of equipment and support processes
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Fluke eMaint CMMS software
• Maintain accurate daily records of all work performed daily in the CMMS
• Capable of answering MS Teams calls for maintenance downtime and troubleshooting repairs to minimize
the impact on operations
• Manage an inventory of materials and parts throughout daily tasks
• Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs
• Assist in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement activities
• Work with outside contractors for completing repairs, preventative maintenance, and upgrades
• Look for and assist in implementing process improvements and machine efficiencies
• Operate, maintain, and clean wastewater treatments system
• Operate forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment
• Maintain shop and work areas clean and sanitary
• Promote personal and company image throughout the community
Requirements:
• One or more years maintenance-related experience, preferably in a food-grade facility
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged standing and walking on concrete
• Prolonged exposure to cold working conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and working at heights above 4 ft. (on ladders and/or platforms)
• Prolonged cooler, freezer, and outdoor work
• May require pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75lbs
