Position type: Full-time Contract, potential contract to hire
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Asheville North Carolina 28801 United States
Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
As a Phlebotomist, your responsibilities:
Experience doing blood draws, labelling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.
Experience doing blood draws
Processing Urine
Recording maintenance data and decontamination
Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures
Patient focused
Answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
Good with hard sticks and pediatric
Attend annual department trainings Answer telephone calls, read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
High School Diploma or GED 2-4 years of experience.
