Business Development Project Manager

Job Summary: The Business Development Project Manager will support our buildings market partner in growing client relationships and securing new business. This position will play a key role in coordinating business development efforts, managing client interactions, and supporting the entire business development cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the buildings business development partner in preparing proposals, presentations, and other business development documents; manage and update CRM systems to ensure accurate client information and follow-up activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating follow-up communications.
  • Research, understand and convey client needs for project success.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients, assess market trends, and gather information on competitors to support strategic planning.
  • Maintain client databases, manage reports, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and organized.
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams to gather information for presentations, and proposals.
  • Track assigned project workflow.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to business development operations, including managing schedules, travel arrangements, and coordinating team activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
    • Experience: 1-2 years of project management, business development support, administrative, or customer service experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
    • Knowledge of engineering or consulting services is a plus.
    • This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our technical and business development teams.
