SUMMARY



The Document Imaging Manager will oversee daily operations of the imaging department within the organization. Ensures compliance of all tasks including to include meeting productivity and quality goals. Will supervisor a team of imaging and indexing clerks.


Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS



Experience in Medicare recovery environment is preferred, including: Medicare policies and procedures, MSP related systems (ReMAS, CWF/HIMR, ECRS, BCRS, and image repositories).


Must be able to recognize multiple MSP document types.



KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Experience with systems design, development and implementation skills. Experience with Federal Contracts, Medicare or other large health-related government contracts.


Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (oral, presentation, and written) and a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office.


Leads, supervises and mentors assigned staff. Provides training and direction for ensuring the achievement of maximum performance with high standards and exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Manages team workload. Ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Participates in hiring.


Works with upper management to problem solve and spearhead change. Will be the POC with various other departments.


Ensures all duties are completed by delegating work to subordinates based on knowledge and skill ability. Also ensures productivity and quality goals are met for the department.


Responsible for adherence to qualitative and quantitative standards as established to meet contractual obligations and changing business requirements.


Manages multiple, concurrent and diverse projects, with varied priority levels.


Identifies correspondence-flow issues, analyzes problems, thoroughly researches and proposes realistic solutions in a timely manner. Uses high level analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve production issues as well as develop and maintain custom solutions or configuration changes. Adept at effectively working through technical issues with both technical and non-technical team members. Works with vendors, IT, Quality Assurance, Compliance, and the Prime contractor to proactively design, propose, and implement solutions to managing outbound/inbound communications, images, and all other related components involving the collection, archival, and distribution of correspondence and other electronic case documentation.


Ensures standards are met in compliance with the Statements of Work (SOW), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) Statutory and regulatory provisions, policy and instructions, and all other applicable requirements. Ensures proper upkeep of technical documents related to correspondence-flow lifecycle and systems.Responsible for reporting.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
