Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for an Accounting Analyst. This position is responsible for preparing and recording monthly journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, maintaining accounting records used to prepare financial statements, and preparing and analyzing other financial information as requested. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited direct supervision and to communicate clearly and concisely.
This position is located in Meridian, Idaho. Hybrid work schedule is supported. #LI-Hybrid
To be considered for this opportunity, you have:
Experience: 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience (two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Other Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills

Prepare and record monthly journal entries
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations and analyze variances
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, statutory reports, and other reports
Assist in cash analysis and forecasting, ensuring adequate cash flow balances
Maintain banking records and other treasury operations
