Position: Digital Designer
Department: Marketing
Work Location: Bend, OR, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.
What you will be doing:
The Digital Designer will be an integral part of the Hydro Flask internal Brand Design team to design and prepare digital assets for consumer-facing marketing efforts, including product campaigns, website, social and email support, digital advertising, digital retail assets, digital storytelling, and photography/video support. This position will work closely with the eCommerce and key partners. They will also assist in developing the creative look and feel of our marketing efforts through design that supports the brand.
Design and prepare graphic assets for digital, motion and occasional print projects, with focus on website, social media, and digital display advertising
Prepare redlines and 'dev-ready' files for release to development team(s)
Partner with internal Brand Design team in order to deliver engaging, on-strategy, on-brand marketing assets (digital/photo/video)
Work with internal teams (eCommerce, Retail, Social Media) to concept and build engaging and on-brand marketing assets to support product launches and brand campaigns
Collaborate with agency of record (AOR) and third party vendors on consumer-facing marketing initiatives
Work closely with Assoc Design Director, Digital Designer, Production Designer, and Project Manager to achieve timely project delivery and efficiency
Attend weekly internal project meetings and maintain status report tracking for all deliverables
Partner with eCommerce and Digital Marketing team to support social and web development resources
Ensure successful processes for development release and file handoff
Assist with email and digital design best practices and with production design, as needed
Recommend brand asset updates and usage guidelines
Assist in post-production and editing of photos and videos
File System management
Collaborate with Brand Design team and Marketing team members to understand marketing strategy in service to project objectives
Assist with marketing brand strategy and development
Skills needed to be successful in this role:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design
5+ years experience designing digital media for consumer brands including e-commerce, online advertising, interactive experiences, email campaigns, social media, and video
Must submit a strong portfolio of design work with application (attach to application or link in resume), showing solutions to marketing problems through effective design
Experienced knowledge of most current version of Abode Creative Suite (XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Figma
Detailed understanding of current and emerging social media platforms and current best practices therein (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, SnapChat, etc.)
Deep experience designing storyboards, wireframes, web banners and digital campaigns for consumer brands
Experience working across print, web, and interactive media and validated portfolio of solutions
Familiarity with and usage of project management software tools (Asana, Jira, Basecamp, Smartsheet, etc.)
Proven understanding of applying brand standards and digital guidelines to creative outputs
Understands common design software and usage requirements, UX/UI, Consumer centric thinking
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
Magento, CSS, and HTML knowledge
