Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Civil Engineering Intern to join our Stormwater Team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various stormwater management projects and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of civil engineering. This internship offers an excellent learning opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in civil engineering and environmental sustainability.
Projects will be related to flood control and drainage systems.
Collaborate with experienced engineers to develop stormwater management solutions, including design and analysis of stormwater systems, drainage, and erosion control measures.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed engineering drawings, plans, and schematics for stormwater projects.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and calculations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support various civil engineering projects, contributing to the overall success of the team and projects.
Currently working toward a Bachelor or Master of Science in a civil or environmental engineering related curriculum in an ABET accredited university.
Strong academic record in relevant coursework, with a focus on hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater management preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in stormwater management and civil engineering.
