Description: Our client is currently seeking a Training Specialist 3
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Design, develop, deliver, and manage technical training programs.
Conduct training requirements analysis and planning, including developing Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs) and Manpower Estimate Reports (MERs).
Analyze and manage Technical Training Equipment (TTE) requirements.
Manage technical training projects, including budget planning and execution, training resource scheduling, weekly reports, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
Provide administrative support, including organizing tasks, collecting and collating data, maintaining process documentation, coordinating meetings, developing agenda items, attending high-level meetings, generating minutes, and tracking action items.
Recommend policies, doctrine, tactics, and procedures based on expert opinion or analysis of actual outcomes.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CANES, ADNS, CENTRIX-MME, SCI-N, SubLAN, and ISNS.
Provide on-the-job training (OJT) on TACNET operations, maintenance, and repair.
Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to program management.
Support new system installations, integrations, and upgrades.
Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair products/equipment.
Establish testing protocols and standards, providing training and guidance to engineers and technicians.
Test system interoperability, measure transmission/outputs, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and maintain detailed evaluation and repair reports.
Provide innovative solutions to complex functional problems impacting the function's success.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Psychology, or a related training systems discipline.
Training certification in Navy's basic instructor training (NEC 805A or 9502) or a current industry-standard trainer certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+)).
Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) qualification within 12 months.
10 years of professional training experience with a Master's degree or 14 years with a Bachelor's degree.
Hands-on experience with Navy Shipboard Networks, including CANES or other TACNET systems.
Experience in at least three of the following areas: Network Administration, System Administration, Technical Documentation, and Training.
Recognized expertise in C4I Networks and System Administration.
Technical training in TACNET or other Navy C4I system administration and maintenance.
Active Secret Clearance.
