Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and update all rules and agreements within variable incentive compensation systems
Validate systems on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of system calculations
Maintain and update best practice files and workpapers to document all calculations, adjustments, and payments
Calculate, document, and follow best practices in all manual royalty calculations and adjustments
Create and validate all applicable summary reports and statements
Validate and finalize all applicable payments within and outside of SAP
Provide first-line support for issues arising from financial systems and their interaction with SAP transactions
Gather requirements and document system development, enhancements, and process improvements
Lead and develop applicable SAP testing plans including coordinating and documenting test results
Summarize large and complex datasets and develop reporting and dashboards in support of analytical processing
Develop and implement account and reconciliation requirements between financial systems and FICO reporting
Perform SAP and IBM Planning Analytics system administration functions including hierarchical and profit center dimension updates and support
Validate Business Intelligence reporting systems against SAP transactional data
Perform research and liaise with Finance, Accounting, Customer Service, and IT Center of Excellence to resolve data validity issues
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide routine and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
Analyze financial results for accuracy, determining variance drivers and documenting performance commentary. Perform trend and sensitivity analyses to determine potential impacts to business results
Maintain cross-functional relationships with applicable business units and participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the status of identified initiatives
Gather, organize, and present financial data for the applicable area for management reporting and in preparation for regular leadership reviews
Prepare and summarize plan vs. actual reports and variance explanations for applicable areas
Understand and monitor relevant KPIs/trends/events impacting the business and incorporate this information into forecasts and analyses
Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas
Implement and support continuous improvement in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting efficiency and effectiveness
Exercise flexibility in working time or hours when needed to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Specialized Skills:
Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP system or equivalent
Strong collaboration & negotiation skills
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
Strong presentation skills
Advanced, working-knowledge of variable compensation plans
Demonstrated independent problem-solving abilities and ability to collaborate-cross functionally
Ability to create or improve upon new or existing reporting and/and processes
Excellent written and verbal communication
Expertise in Business Intelligence reporting tools and underlying data
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business/ Economics required
4+ years of relevant work experience required

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Virtual machines and laptops. Microsoft environment. Work with standard current computer applications, including but not limited to collaboration tools, email, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
