Job Description:

Serves as project lead for the compilation, analysis and preparation of financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis of FedEx companies, including consolidated reporting and/or reporting in compliance with SEC rules and regulations.


Essential Functions



  • Serves as project lead for the compilation, analysis and preparation of financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis of FedEx companies.

  • Consolidated reporting and/or reporting in compliance with SEC rules and regulations.

  • Provide interpretation and support to users of financial statements.

  • Lead projects related to the design and enhancement of financial reporting systems.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.





Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in accounting or finance-related discipline.


Minimum Experience

Five (5) years experience in public accounting or the accounting department of a public company.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong accounting and reporting skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, project management and communications skills.





Preferred Qualifications:
* CPA preferred * Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and communication skills * Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of US GAAP to complex transactions including documentation * Intellectual curiosity and flexibility * Interest in accounting systems * Experience with accounting for hyperinflationary countries * M&A accounting advisory and experience with purchase accounting * Experience with SEC reporting and month-end close processes * Openness for occasional travel

Additional Details: Position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN. Candidates must live within a reasonable commutable distance. Employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allowed flexibility to work from home otherwise.
