The Manager II, Development, oversees a team of software engineers focused on delivering high-quality Microsoft adapter solutions that meet critical stakeholder expectations. This role requires strategic alignment with other SPS Technology teams to drive priorities and deliver high-impact outcomes. The Manager II is accountable for setting technical direction, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring timely execution to support SPS’s strategic ERP integration initiatives.

What is the day to day like?
Collaborate on team initiatives, ensuring team remains on track and accountable for commitments
Act as front-line management of 4-8 software and application development professionals
Partner with Senior Manager of Platform Development to define career development goals for the team. Encourage team to grow and mentor team members and guide individual contributors in their career development using the career plan defined with Director
Foster a strong team morale in a fast-paced, action-packed environment. Mentor within and outside of core team. Coordinate training and documentation materials across the department.
Facilitate the adoption of new technology advancements
What is Required
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience
2+ years in management or technical lead role
Proven success developing technical talent and driving results through teamwork
Proficiency in .NET, with experience in Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Desired Experience
.NET (C#), SQL; React and IIS are a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud environments
Agile development experience
Knowledge of ERP and EDI solutions
