Senior Product Manager (Hybrid - Columbia, SC)

The Senior Product Manager's responsibilities include working closely with customers, business partners, and senior leadership to maintain product vision and lead product teams to execute delivery of assigned products. This includes working closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on analyzing customer and business needs, organizational objectives, and existing systems infrastructure. The Product Manager drives and participates in the design, development, and implementation of assigned products and works under minimal supervision on creative solutions. Partners with the director of Product Management and other internal stakeholders to ensure product alignment with the overall enterprise product vision.


What you'll do

  Establish and maintain product vision
• 
  Understand the competitive landscape and drive acquisition growth and retention
• 
  Identify market opportunities and define value propositions for products
• 
  Responsible for creating and maintaining product roadmaps
• 
  Use data and analytics to understand and analyze customer and business needs
• 
  Identify opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on results
• 
  Lead DEV team to execute product strategy
• 
  Drive translation of product roadmaps into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, or comparable field
• 6+ years of experience in developing software in banking/finance/lending
• Current understanding of market and industry trends in financial services and technology preferred
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven experience in product management supporting all phases of the product lifecycle using project methodology
