What You Will Be Doing
Here's an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:
You will apply your deep knowledge of process control and automation systems to understand and analyze the specific processes within the Pulp & Paper mill. This expertise will enable you to identify areas where advanced control strategies can be implemented to improve efficiency and quality.
As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate closely with our Pulp & Paper customers to assess their existing processes, identify pain points, and understand their production objectives. Based on this analysis you will provide recommendations and technical support to implement advanced control solutions.
Working with our team of process and automation experts, you will design and develop advanced control solutions tailored to the unique needs of each customer. This may involve the design of control algorithms and the integration of sensors and instrumentation.
You will oversee the implementation of advanced control systems in the customer's mill. This may involve configuring and tuning control loops, conducting system testing, and ensuring seamless integration with existing automation systems.
You will use ANDRITZ' proprietary Metris software to continuously monitor and analyze mill performance. This includes analyzing real-time data, diagnosing any issues or deviations, and fine-tuning the control algorithms as necessary to optimize process performance.
Your expertise will play a pivotal role in improving product quality. By implementing advanced control strategies, you can help minimize variations, reduce defects, and ensure consistent product quality, which is critical in the Pulp & Paper industry.
You may be involved in training our customer's personnel to operate and maintain the advanced control systems effectively. Knowledge transfer is essential to ensure the long-term success of these solutions.
