Responsibilities:
At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of 1st Medical Logistics Company, we are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist with experience in supporting warehousing operations.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides warehousing and inventory management operations support by performing the following tasks on a daily basis to include, but not limited to:
• Assemble AMALs, ADALs, and medical kits using the government provided standard configurations and quantities required.
• Monitor shelf-life items through DMLSS and conduct necessary stock rotations;
• Conduct Pre and Post Joint Limited Technical Inspection counts with customers, record data in DMLSS, and produce short lists to MCC for items that are needed;
• Conduct data entry transactions to process receipts, issues, and inventory adjustments;
• Maintain accountability of items in appropriate records and retrieve historical record data;
• Maintain automated or manual locator systems in order to conduct inventories, to include working with Government representatives in the conduct and reconciliation of location surveys/physical inventories;
• Remove material from storage and prepare/pack it for transfer to Authorized Medical Allowance Lists and Authorized Dental Allowance Lists (AMAL/ADAL)
• Pull, stage, and return excess and/or obsolete material to appropriate government representative.
Education/Experience:
-High school diploma or GED required.
-One - four (1-4) years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Warehouse operations to include but not limited to:
o Inventory and Shelf-Life Management.
o Solving complex Inventory bottlenecks & shortfalls
o Conducting inventories and Limited Technical Inspections (LTIs)
o Conducting Inventory adjustments within Supply Chain Programs (Military Supply Programs such as GCSS-MC or DMLSS are a plus)
-Prefer experience with Microsoft Suite products building or utilizing Power Points, Operational Trackers, and or analytical tools.
-Experience with working and solving complex Supply Chain Management/Inventory Management projects.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
Preferred familiarization with the following applicable federal logistics websites and tools to include, but not limited to:
o Federal Logistics Data on Mobile Media (FED LOG)
o Medical Master Catalog (MMC)
o Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) System
o Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)
o Web Federal Logistics Information Service (WebFLIS)
o Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to obtain a license to operate motor forklifts with up to 10,000 pounds lift capacity
