Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a User Experience Designer.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Analysis:
Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points
Develop user personas, journey maps, and use cases to guide design decisions and ensure a user-centered approach
Analyze data and insights to validate assumptions and identify areas for improvement in the user experience
UX Design & Prototyping:
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with business objectives and meet user needs
Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency and accessibility
Collaborate with UI designers to ensure the user experience and visual design work harmoniously
Usability Testing & Iteration:
Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement
Gather feedback from stakeholders and users to refine designs and deliver a polished, functional product
Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data-driven insights
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure cohesive project alignment
Present design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to stakeholders, gathering feedback and advocating for best practices in UX
Design Documentation & Standards:
Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and documentation to ensure design consistency across all platforms
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and tools in UX/UI to continuously improve design solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
3+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile UX projects
A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs
Proficient in conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable insights
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
Ability to interpret user data and research insights to create effective design solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting design ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on creating intuitive, visually appealing designs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
