RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's Phoenix-based client is looking to add multiple Business Analysts to their team. These roles are hybrid/partial onsite in Phoenix - candidates must be local to the Phoenix area. Candidates should have a strong grounding in Business Systems Analysis and some experience with BI tools (Oracle OTBI, BIP). This position will have potential for conversion to FTE.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates system enhancement requests and coordinate the related applicable enhancement release schedule with product owner and related stakeholders; Coordinates the process of obtaining functional requirements from applicable business stakeholders and subject matter experts utilizing elicitation techniques


• Understand and standardize data from approximately 200 queries, analyze various data points and attributes to build requirements for IT


• Focus on standardizing processes (90% of the role) while managing urgent issues


• Performs research and analysis for proposed projects to determine feasibility


• Creates detailed documentation of user requirements and partners with the development team to document both functional and non-functional specifications


• Supports quality assurance and control efforts using data analysis/profiling as part of pre- and post-implementation reviews; Provides support to functional and user acceptance testing groups throughout development life cycle


• Responsible for status reporting, knowledge transfer and implementation plans as appropriate for the software solution being developed

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst


• Strong understanding of reporting with BI Tools/Decision Support Systems


• Strong functional knowledge in the financial space, including invoicing, payment processes, and ERP implementation


• Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP)


• Proficiency in Power BI; knowledge of Snowflake is a plus (ability to run queries in Snowflake)


• Experience in building requirements documents and user stories


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
