Responsibilities:
Perform final component installations, pre-flight and post-flight checks, and troubleshooting to ensure aircraft readiness and delivery quality on next-generation aerospace projects.
Conduct final component installation, verification, and operational testing of aircraft systems.
Perform routine rework, maintenance, and functional validation tests, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
Inspect pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems, documenting and resolving any identified faults.
Verify the accuracy of work performed and assist with system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections.
Plan, schedule, and manage work activities with guidance from the team lead, ensuring readiness for timely delivery.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification:FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license or eligibility for an FAA Repairman's Certificate based on aircraft experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing roles.
At least 1 year of avionics and/or electrical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the 787 Program.
Background in airline/MRO/overhaul operations and team leadership (formal or informal).
Familiarity with computing and operating systems for troubleshooting and reporting.
