Job Overview
The Allocation Coordinator will support the Director of Operations in managing and optimizing the allocation and distribution of inventory across all channels. This role will handle EDI orders, coordinate with warehouses, and ensure that all customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. The Allocation Coordinator will work closely with Sales, Operations, and external partners to ensure that inventory is allocated and shipped efficiently, meeting all client expectations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive orders daily via EDI, ensuring that all orders are processed with the correct styles, prices, and quantities.
Communicate any EDI errors to management and Sales, and work to resolve them promptly.
Allocate and send both EDI and manual orders to warehouses for fulfillment.
Receive inventory manually and through EDI into the company's system, ensuring accurate records.
Receive 945 EDI transmissions from warehouses on all shipped orders and ensure accuracy in the data.
Invoice customers in the system and follow up on any invoice errors or discrepancies with the customer.
Handle the integration of all new EDI partners.
Collaborate with warehouse customer service representatives (CSRs) to ensure all orders are routed and shipped on time.
Allocate and route orders, coordinating with warehouses and carriers to ensure the accuracy of shipments and timely delivery.
Schedule, book, and follow up with truckers for deliveries and returns, ensuring smooth logistics.
Ensure all orders are shipped within the specified ship/cancellation dates and in compliance with customer agreements.
Review order file to ensure orders are entered correctly and that the ship window of the order is accurate according to the production purchase order port ETA.
Communicate daily with management, sales and warehouse (CSRs) to review customer delivery issues
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field that demonstrates your dedication to the industry (not required but preferred)
2+ years of experience with EDI (preferably True Commerce), inventory management ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics GP), or order allocation processes.
Strong understanding of EDI systems and transactions.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Salary Disclosure:
Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications and experience of the individual. The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. While the posted salary range is $55,000 - $65,000, we recognize the value of exceptional talent and are open to negotiation for the right candidate.
