We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Accountant/Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operations of our small but dynamic sales company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks and administrative duties, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes. • Oversee state licenses (sales tax, state filings, etc.) and ensure all required reports are filed in a timely manner. • Maintain and update inventory records for incoming, outgoing, and available stock. • Invoice customers and maintain accurate customer records. • Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support the company's backend operations.
Qualifications: • Experience with QuickBooks and Odoo is preferred. • 5-10+ years of accounting experience is required. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to visit state agency offices and ensure the company remains in good standing.
