We are seeking a friendly, yet analytical, staff person to help us serve our clients by researching funds, understanding client portfolios, assisting our advisor in providing in-depth financial plans, and helping prepare for client reviews. You will not be required to build your own book of business, but you must be able to develop appropriate recommendations to help our clients achieve their financial goals. To be successful in this role, you must have exceptional interpersonal skills, strong relationship building skills and an understanding of the financial planning process.

In this role with our firm, your responsibilities will include:
Research products and services that will enhance client relationships or fulfill clients' short- and long-term financial needs.
Participate in client meetings, document meeting notes, and address service and portfolio-related needs.
Generate financial plans and supportive reports, such as position statements, for meetings with clients.
Place trades through Commonwealth's trading platform.
Requirements:
Experience in the investment/insurance industry is required.
Highly professional; Commitment to conducting business in an honest and ethical manner, always putting clients' needs first.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial planning concepts, terminology, and products, such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, and annuities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and coworkers.
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), CRM, Wealthscape, MoneyGuide Pro, and Morningstar programs.
Advanced degree (CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, MBA, CPA), or education (BA/BS in business, finance or similar), desired.
FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 registrations preferred.
