Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Coop Sleep Goods. This role is pivotal in driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and proficiency in data analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to gather inputs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to project future financial performance based on historical data and market trends.
• Prepare and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, channel analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Aggregate data from multiple data sources for organizational reporting and model development
• Synthesize granular level data into higher level trends for tracking and reporting
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to present key financial data to stakeholders.

Strategic Support:
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives, product launches, and market expansions.
• Assist in evaluating profitability of new business opportunities and investments

Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial planning and analysis functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the consumer products industry.
• Proficiency with Oracle NetSuite and Power BI preferred; experience with advanced Excel modeling is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
