The administrative assistant works with the scheduling team on the day-to-day scheduling of client shifts, and also provides administrative assistance to the Human Resources Manager. Job Responsibilities:
  • Schedules and staffs client shifts by communicating with clients and caregivers to ensure coverage is provided when needed
  • Uses scheduling software daily to schedule client shifts and maintain accurate data and documentation
  • Answers phone calls with courtesy and professionalism
  • Utilizes superb written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, caregivers, and office staff
  • Assists the Human Resources Manager with the hiring of new caregivers by calling and interviewing applicants, collecting necessary documentation, and assisting with new employee orientations
  • Assists the Human Resources Manager with maintaining caregiver compliance, including collecting the appropriate documents and organizing and updating the caregiver software
  • Collaborates with other team members to ensure client satisfaction and smooth workflow
  • On-call some nights, weekends, and holidays

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 - 4 years of administrative office experience
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, and ability to learn scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication skills and professionalism
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Forward-thinker who isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table!

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, communications, or related field strongly preferred (degree will be accepted in lieu of experience)
  • Previous medical or health care experience preferred

Pay: $40,000 - $43,000 per year
