Responsibilities include:
Act as lead instructor for pasta making events
Head up Evento pasta program
Make pasta fresh pasta on daily basis for Evento events and restaurant service
Setting up processes for continued pasta production to ensure smooth operation of ongoing pasta service for events and restaurant
Hire personnel to meet the demand
Cook for Evento experiences on an as needed basis
Train staff for Evento experiences and pasta production
Responsible for all equipment associated with pasta production, manage and maintain inventory as well as communicate needs to leadership
Manage ingredient inventory for all pasta production
Work cross-functionally with Evento leadership and operations team to make sure all functions of Evento's pasta needs are met during future planning
Meet regularly with Evento leadership team

Desired Experience
5+ years working in a commercial kitchen environment making fresh pasta
Preferred - experience leading groups in cooking classes
Preferred - expereince cooking for large groups at once
Preferred - outgoing, strong communications skills and friendly
Preferred - great attention to detail
Preferred - interpersonal skills to communicate with clients
Preferred - New York Food Handling License Certificate (we can help obtain this if you do not have it)
