Do you want to help design the next generation of materials used for batteries, space exploration or water purification? Are you interested in getting a PhD? A position is available in Prof. Jacob Gissinger's group at Stevens Institute of Technology, starting as early as Spring 2025. The research will involve computational design of polymeric systems, such as polymer electrolytes, or high-performance polymers and composites for use in extreme environments.
Responsibilities
Be excited to do research. Be curious. Be willing to learn.
Qualifications
Students should have a bachelor's degree in materials science, chemical engineering or related fields. Proficiency in a programming language, such as Python, is a plus. The applicant should be excited to learn about computational materials science, machine learning and polymer engineering. Please direct any questions to jgissing@stevens.edu.
