JOB PURPOSE:

NMC is looking for a Yard Coordinator responsible for the general maintenance, tracking, and organization of equipment within the yard. You'll oversee the shipping and receiving of new, used, and rental equipment then regularly maintain the inventory systems ensuring its accuracy and rectifying any discrepancies. The Yard Coordinator will work with customers, freight companies, and NMC Transport to load and unload equipment. You'll operate many different types of equipment such as skid loaders, excavators, dozers, forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts which you will receive training andcertification as required. You may often operate the wash bay as well. If you enjoy supporting operations to run smoothly and efficiently, this position may be right for you!

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Coordinates and tracks all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard. Loads and unloads machines. Prepares needed paperwork and performs inspections on all incoming and outgoing equipment. Documents any issues found during pre & post-inspections and communicates problems to appropriate personnel.

• Scan equipment and work with the Used Equipment Manager to post pictures on our website.

• Assist the Used Equipment Manager in maintaining the machine inventory on the website. This person is responsible for making sure all photos taken of machines in inventory are uploaded on the website and that we only have current photos of equipment online.

• Organizes and inventories yard ensuring the working environment is safe for both customers and employees. Assists rental coordinators or sales in locating “lost” equipment in the yard.

• Provides rental customers with start/stop and general operating instructions.

• Ensures cleanliness of allequipment and cab areas before transport or rental in an efficient and timely manner.

• Performs general yard upkeep and maintenance, including snow removal and weeding.
