The Seasonal Etching Operations Processor will perform all steps involved in the preparation of crystal merchandise for the etching process, including the unwrapping, inspecting and counting of crystal units and systematically receiving them in. A core responsibility will be up film on crystal pieces utilizing the appropriate measuring guide and set up tools in accordance with the servicing instructions on the paperwork. Other duties will include the removal of excess cardboard, bubble, tissue and empty totes from the department to help facilitate the workflow. The processor will also work with Inventory Control to address overages and shortages. The processor will go to standard engraving a couple of times daily to ensure fragrance orders are picked up and processed in a timely fashion. The processor will also receive in and manually track on a spreadsheet Customer's Own Merchandise orders that come in daily from the TSC. The processor will also perform final washing and drying of crystal after sand blasting within this role.
Set up crystal merchandise in preparation for sand blasting. Steps include placing mask on physical pieces with the use of a measuring ruler and tools.
Exposing-utilizing an exposing unit with ultra-violet lighting for the exposure of artwork onto the film. Washout of film which requires the use of a power washer or auto washer and utilizing the drying unit.
Administrative duties include the matching of paperwork to merchandise, scanning work into PKMS, staging merchandise and prioritizing orders by date. Following departmental SOP's with regards to checking artwork, care and handling or merchandise, and staging.
Perform crystal finishing, including sandblasting, but mostly taping and final wash out of merchandise utilizing the soak tanks and drying processes. Use the required personal protective equipment while operating equipment and during all processes. Maintain equipment and a clean and organized work area.
Prepare merchandise for etching process by retrieving, unwrapping and most importantly inspecting the merchandise to ensure it is free of flaws. Inspection will also be conducted on completed etched orders for accuracy and quality with failed pieces being directed back to the process. Communicate issues or concerns regarding merchandise quality and standards to Management, Quality Assurance and Inventory Control.
Adapt easily to new responsibilities including the capacity to work independently or in a group environment allowing for the flexing to and support all Personalization areas and at times Distribution to fulfill business needs. Always work safely by consistently following safe work procedures for your position, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promptly report all incidents and safety issues to your management team or enter an incident report using the online reporting system.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Attention to detail is imperative.
Excellent hand and eye coordination.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Will have to perform bench test as part of interview process.
Ability to prioritize workflow, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and work with minimum supervision.
Must comply with all Tiffany & Co. policies and procedures regarding safety, security, attendance, proper attire, personal protective equipment and the operation of equipment.
Non-traditional overtime working hours and able to work overtime as necessary.
Flex into other areas of Etching and Distribution as deemed necessary by the needs of the department and overall business.
Must be able to lift 35lbs, occasional lifting of 50 lbs. may be necessary.
