Gaumont is seeking a Business and Legal Affairs Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to the Business and Legal Affairs Department in West Hollywood. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a high volume of administrative related tasks and be able to work well within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Support the members of the Business and Legal Affairs department
Handle all administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling meetings, maintaining files, answering phones, expenses etc.
Draft correspondences and emails
Draft and redline development and production-related agreements including writer, producer, actor and director agreements
Review talent and above-the-line crew agreements to determine likeness and credit rights and approvals
Register creative works with the U.S. Copyright Office
Proofread contracts and send agreements out for signature
Maintain tracking spreadsheets
Requirements:
Juris Doctor Degree required
1-3 years of law firm experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication and Microsoft Office skills required
Ability to maintain sensitive information confidential
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast- paced environment
