Help develop and implement the business strategy ensuring goals are achieved for long-term profitable growth and stability
Define multiyear portfolio roadmaps, perform regular product line gap analysis and portfolio reviews
Bring market facing ideas and strategies, and expertise to decision-making and strategic planning
Develop and execute sales growth programs to drive incremental share gains
Maintain extensive knowledge of market conditions, technology trends, and competitor landscape
Help strategize, prepare and present business plans orally and in writing for general review and approval
Help building and maintaining customer relationships in general and KOL partnerships in particular
Lead and support voice of customer (VOC) research for the business to identify key customer unmet needs
Responsible for the grant generation process for government-based grants in collaboration with outside researchers
Ability to mobilize, energize, and organize cross-functional teams for success in winning and delivering complex projects
Partner with marketing and other cross functional team members in upstream identification of new opportunities, solution definition and development and go-to-market planning, to ensure unmet customer needs are addressed and differentiated solutions are developed
Lead and support business case creation for identified growth opportunities
Collect and analyze market data and define new target markets by attending most US and some international trade shows and customer site visits. Includes tracking of sales data, KPIs, and dashboard. Use CRM (NetSuite)
Drive the market introduction of new products
Develop and support the downstream identification of go-to-market and launch strategy, planning and execution, to ensure customer awareness and alignment of solutions and needs
Develop toolkits outlining strategy, key messaging, and positioning that is disseminated to global markets for local marketing efforts to drive demand generation through the creation of local campaigns
Work with Regional Sales Managers to identify and activate new market opportunities globally that drive both demand and acceptance of the company's scientific product solutions

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Ability to work in the office and remotely
5+ years Product Management experience, including plan development and execution of international product launches
5+ years of experience in small animal imaging capital equipment
10+ years total Sales/Marketing experience
Strong upstream and downstream experience and skills, working with complex technology
Strong knowledge of global scientific research markets required
Strong knowledge of small animal imaging process highly desired
Strong strategic, analytical, and technical skills
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects, with good organizational skills
Ability to work effectively, lead and collaborate in a cross-functional team
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary, anticipated travel 30% of the time
