Develop and execute impactful strategies and content to promote Moody's enterprise-level initiatives and priorities to key external stakeholders through owned and earned media channels. Lead executive thought leadership campaigns and contribute to the team's reputation management activities. Responsible for owning and executing corporate-level campaign initiatives, including strategy conception, content and message development, external visibility tactics, alignment with internal stakeholders, and metric reporting. Position maintains key relationships with the media, and partners with key internal colleagues across various lines of business and control functions, including senior executives, to ensure alignment and campaign success throughout the entire campaign process.

Extensive work managing multiple PR and communications campaigns at the same time, strong history of counseling senior executives and building media relationships are required. Agency and team management experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Communication Planning:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives.

  • Collaborate with senior executives to identify emerging priorities and key messages to ensure consistency in communication efforts.

  • Monitor industry trends, media coverage, and competitor activities to recommend adjustments to communication strategies as needed.

External Communication:


  • Leverage the organization's external communication channels, including media relations, public relations, and social media, to secure meaningful visibility of initiatives with key external audiences.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, corporate partners and industry influencers to enhance the organization's reputation and promote positive coverage.

  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization, handling media inquiries and managing crisis communications when necessary on enterprise-level issues.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree a plus.

  • Extensive experience (5-10 years) in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field; experience in the financial services or technology industries desired but not required.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies across an array of topics, issues and stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and issues in succinct and impactful ways.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [[$133,100 - [[$192,950, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
