Create Engaging and Meaningful Dining Experiences: Develop fresh, seasonal menus that reflect an appreciation for local ingredients.
Build and Mentor a Collaborative Team: Encourage a culture of growth, creativity, and camaraderie within the culinary team by implementing training, coaching, and mentorship. Empower team members to bring ideas to the table and participate actively in decision-making.
Oversee Compliance and Financial Stewardship: Ensure the kitchens operate within Federal, State, and local health and safety guidelines while optimizing resources to meet financial goals. Effectively manage budgets, vendor negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives that support high-quality, sustainable culinary operations.
Strengthen Resident Connections and Satisfaction: Maintain a visible presence in dining areas to connect with residents and staff, address needs in real-time, and gather feedback to continuously improve service.

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Culinary Arts, or Food Service Management, with at least four years of progressive experience in a similar role.
Exceptional creativity in culinary and dining management, with a strong commitment to fostering a warm, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
Solid background in budget management, strategic planning, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop innovative programs that enrich residents' dining experience.
Familiarity with seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients and sustainable practices in dining services is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and conduct rounds across multiple kitchens.
