The primary role of the Digital Media Project Manager will be to serve as videographer and photographer for Medical Alley. This individual will initially report to the President/CEO and work with leadership to advance MAA mission.
Given the dynamic nature of Medical Alley's service offerings, along with the fact that this role will work across the organization, it requires a collaborative approach to problem-solving. This role requires a creative and thoughtful individual in constant pursuit of the highest standards in producing photography, videography and sound recordings that maintain the integrity of MAA and its partner organizations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Film, edit and produce recap videos for all Medical Alley events and any sponsors associated with events • Coordinate/produce feature videos such as "New Partner Spotlight" to highlighting work of Medical Alley Partners • Manage, produce, and edit weekly episodes of Medical Alley Podcast • Manage and produce Medical Alley webinars • Curate weekly roundup of Medical Alley member news and post to Medical Alley website as "In the Know" • Manage the outreach, coordination, and completion of interviews for Medical Alley's For the Record and Up and Running series • Publish press releases submitted by member companies to the Medical Alley website • Collaborate on promotional content writing for events, podcasts, monthly health observances, and interviews • Collaborate in developing, creating, and sharing graphics for social, interviews, events, etc.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree and/or related Certification • Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA • Proven track record of identifying problems and creating solutions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with e-commerce or digital marketing • Technical skills require experience using the following or similar equipment: • Panasonic/Lumix Camera with Lumix 70-300 and 20-60 lens • Panasonic Video Camera • DJI Drone with motion controller & drone controller • RodeCaster Pro Mixing Board for Podcasts • Rode Pod Mic & Headphones • Neewer Box Lights
Position Details: This is a full-time, exempt position working primarily days, Monday through Friday, with core hours between 9:00 - 5:00. The position is situated in a typical office setting requiring the applicant to sit for extended periods and have general mobility around the office, including moving to different workstations, attending meetings (onsite and offsite), and accessing common areas like restrooms and break rooms. Must have reliable transportation. Occasional travel and flexibility to work weekends or evenings, as required. This position is in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN and while hybrid, does require time in the office.
