Description:
Full-time/Part-time and PRN 7am - 7pm or 7 pm - 7 am shift schedule
Reporting to the Director of Respiratory Care Services
Level III NICU

Respiratory Dept. and staff that takes pride in a meticulous in workflow
Responsibilities:
Performs respiratory care procedures in response to patient needs and physician direction/orders
Assesses the respiratory status of assigned patients through physical exam, chart review, and response to ordered therapy; and makes recommendations, when appropriate, to affect and achieve an optimal level of response to the intervention ordered.
Performs airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required.
What you will need:
Required:
Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Current licensure from the state of Maryland as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
At least one year of clinical experience preferred
Current CPR training with recertification every two years.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
For PRN positions you will need two years of experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred:
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) if working in NICU/Special Care Nursery
Pay Range-$33.73-$50.59
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
