BASIC FUNCTION
The Business Developer will be responsible for shopping center account management and business development for current and new customers. The core function of this role is to maintain positive relationships, renew contracts with a focus on improving profitability and seek out new business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage independent and small portfolio stroller and massage chair contracts in shopping centers
Develop and maintain a project pipeline and increase portfolio value
Pursue new business opportunities, and successfully negotiate new contracts
Foster strong relationships with customers and fiercely protect existing business against competition
Business Development KPI tracking
Performance summaries
Inventory and sales forecasting
Track inventory replenishment
Work cross-functionally to improve product attributes and increase profitability
Attend and exhibit Smarte Carte products and services at industry tradeshows
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience in related sales roles
Ability to close difficult deals and manage complex client needs
Strong background in financial analysis and forecasting
Possess strategic leadership, planning and thinking skills, business assessment acumen and a value chain mindset
Experience with working in a cross-functional team environment

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a business or related field required
