This position is for the second shift, with hours from 2:30 PM to 11 PM.
Summary: The Warehouse Foreman oversees all aspects of material movement within the warehouse. This includes incoming receipts, transfers with the warehouse, and the issuance of parts out of the warehouse. A more detailed description of the duties would include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain the Receiving and "put a ways" workflow. UPS shipping would initially be included.
Help transition UPS shipping from warehouse to Traffic. Assist with UPS shipping after the transition if needed.
Assist in pulling jobs and receiving when needed following the warehouse procedures.
Must be able to operate a forklift and/or electrically powered devices needed for moving material and maintain certification.
Provide input on solutions to obstacles that hinder work efficiency.
Assist in organizing the work environment for the department.
Works under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor on continuous improvement projects within the warehouse.
Responsible for the transfers between warehouses. This includes the physical movement of material from the offsite warehouse to the main warehouse and all the necessary computer transactions that accompany the transfer.
Receiving all material into the offsite warehouse and locating the material to the proper locations both physically and in the system.
Replenishment of key items where needed by using the systems replenishment module.
Making sure the offsite warehouse is kept orderly and presentable at all times. This means that material has been put away and not left un-located on the floor.
Responsible for performing all warehouse transactions in regard to returned or damaged buy items. This includes making sure that material is received as it arrives in the warehouse and is issued when it is returned to the vendor. All movements are to be followed by the necessary system transaction. This may also include building crates as necessary and answering any questions in regards to returns history.
Oversee both of the tents and ensure that they are kept neat and orderly. This includes physically helping or offering guidance as material needs to be moved in or out of the tents.
Running shortage reports and keeping the visibility of incoming receipts so that shortages are fulfilled as soon as possible.
Assist in developing the proper workflow for piece parts.
Monitoring the pulling of parts for Traffic and Product Support

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Minimum of 3 years related experience working in a production planning and warehouse environment.
Basic computer knowledge.
Language Skills:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization.
