Job Overview

The Jr. Administrator, IT Network position is responsible to implement, maintain, and support AltaMed’ s growing network infrastructure, including, but not limited to Firewalls, Switches, Routers and monitoring systems. Additional responsibilities comprise of racking/cabling equipment and assisting other teams, including, but not limited to, Systems, Security, Clinical Applications, and Data Engineering.

Minimum Requirements

1. Cisco networking certifications is preferred (CCNA, CCNP)

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.

3. Minimum 3 years of working knowledge deploying/maintaining IT Network technologies required.

4. Knowledge of routing and switching to implement and maintain network solutions.(Cisco technologies are preferred)

5. Experience with Wireless technologies (preferred).

6. Knowledge and experience of network security architectures (e.g. Firewalls, VPNs, ACL, IDS/IPS).

7. Experience in virtualization and cloud systems (preferred)

8. Experience supporting solutions with high availability and real time monitoring is preferred.

9. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols. Adept at packet capture and troubleshooting tools.

Compensation

$74,464.00 - $93,080.00 annually
