The position will involve construction inspection, safety support, design, project management, and construction management related tasks.
Provide support as needed to engineering, safety, environmental, financial, and construction staff for capital and operational projects.
Work under direction of Engineers, Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Inspectors to perform engineering related tasks including:
Electrical Engineering Design
Construction oversight
Field construction/quality control project implementation
Other engineering related work as assigned
Must be:
Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, stay organized, and finish assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner
Able to comprehend and interpret construction drawings
Punctual, flexible, willing to take on tasks to completion, and detail oriented
Able to work with groups and project teams, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work unsupervised at times
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering with an expected graduation date between December 2025 to June 2027
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as occasional travel may be required.

DETAILS & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:
This internship will report regularly in person to Duluth, MN and may require some travel to sites in our service territory
This role is expected to begin May/June of 2025 to August/September 2025
The internship will be full time during summer with the possibility of extending into the academic terms up until graduation
