As part of this initiative, you'll be responsible for migrating their systems from one vendor to another, leveraging your expertise in areas like COBOL, JCL, Unix Shell Scripting, DB2, and SQL.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Understand and work with the existing system to ensure a seamless migration to the new vendor


• Collaborate closely with the Business Analysts, Development Leads, and offshore teams to ensure requirements are met and development has no blockers


• Follow the change management process during the development process, working closely with the client and vendor partners


• Support Quality Assurance Testing and perform validations or development corrections as needed


• Ensure the development of system checks, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance testing are performed to prepare for production deployment


• Address vulnerabilities, variances, and findings related to the supported applications in a timely manner


• Prioritize tasks and complete them within expected deadlines

What We're Looking For:

• 7-13 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer, preferably in the banking or financial services industry


• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, Unix Shell Scripting, DB2, and SQL


• Familiarity with card processing, merchant systems, and lockbox/image scan applications


• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams


• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
