Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Duties: Guide Payment Initiatives such as partner settlements, new risk controls, and platform enhancements to minimize financial losses. Validate partner settlements through data-driven actions to mitigate payment fraud and seller risk. Automate settlement processes to achieve operational efficiency. Design rules and policies and implement solutions for the Payments Decision Engine. Drive the end-to-end seller payment journey to help understand the pain points and payment issues. Bring in transparency to enhance seller payments experience. Revamp seller reporting and settlements to maintain competitive parity. Collaborate with Payments Product and Engineering teams to automate and improve seller communication. Define and proactively monitor operational metrics to drive better efficiency and help reduce partner payment friction. Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Trust & Safety, Performance, Partner Operations, and other business teams to create and support robust risk processes and procedures. Work with business leads to support Marketplace initiatives and the monetization of new services. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau and Looker. Experience with SQL. Experience with Excel based data analysis. Experience working with product and technology teams. Experience working with large datasets. Experience conducting exploratory and statistical data analysis. Experience defining strategies for customer facing financial products. Experience with one of the following programming languages: R, SAS, or Python. Salary Range: $138,911/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
