Fiduciary Operations Supervisor

  • The Fiduciary Operations Supervisor will oversee daily fiduciary activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations


  • This role involves leading a team of fiduciary operations staff, preparing management reports, and identifying opportunities for process enhancements

We will count on you to:



  • Lead and mentor a team of fiduciary operations staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards; this includes conducting performance appraisals and monitoring workload of team members to ensure projects are aligned by resources, capacity and skills required


  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, analyzing data for accuracy and completeness, and identifying discrepancies or areas for improvement


  • Approve operational work streams and resolve escalated issues as required to ensure timely and strategic delivery


  • Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance, applying best practices in fiduciary operations


  • Participate in and/or lead projects affecting the department and its processes, collaborating with other departments, such as legal, compliance, and controllership teams, to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements and company policies


  • Review negotiated documents and internal processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements


  • Provide training to staff on document and invoice review, compliance requirements, and best practices in fiduciary operations, keeping the team informed of changes in fiduciary regulations and compliance standards





What you need to have:



  • A solid understanding of fiduciary principles, regulatory requirements, and effective management skills


  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formatting) and Microsoft Office suite of products


  • Knowledge about invoicing and fiduciary function


  • Experience identifying and implementing opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency





What makes you stand out:



  • 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred


  • Previous revenue recognition experience


  • Experience in Commercial Lines insurance


  • Experience executing change and transformation initiatives and interacting with various stakeholders
